"Play is really the work of childhood." - Mr. Rogers

Play is the foundation for learning. My approach uses the fundamentals of play to instill knowledge and problem-solving skills while addressing each child's unique emotional attributes. The philosophy of my practice takes a holistic viewpoint to understand the whole child, laying a foundation for future success.

Areas of expertise include autism spectrum disorders (ASD), language learning disabilities (LLD), and feeding challenges. When it comes to feeding, mealtime is truly special. It highlights a child's relationship with food, encouraging exploration and positive role models. Nutrition counseling further considers environmental attributes, facilitating education and self-efficacy.

My goal is to empower parents and caregivers with practical tools, strategies and resources. I welcome the child and adult into the therapeutic space because, as partners, we can achieve so much more.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) believes that recess is a crucial and necessary component of a child’s development” (Pediatrics, 2013, p.1).
